Engagement Ring Description

This gorgeous engagement ring features a radiant cut diamond prong set in the center, accented by channel set diamonds on the shank shoulders and bright cut set diamonds on the ring fronts. It was custom designed for a client, and it’s a wonderful piece to use as inspiration when you’re beginning the custom design process yourself. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Setting

In the center of this ring, a rectangular radiant cut diamond is prong set in 14k white gold, and it’s oriented lengthwise across the band so that it’s inline with the finger when worn. This positioning helps to accentuate the elegant shape of the stone, and it’s framed nicely by the rounded tips of the prongs that meet it at its corners.

Directly below the main diamond on both ring fronts, three small round diamonds are bezel set in a cluster, with two on top and one on the bottom. These fill the space below the main diamond nicely, and they help tie the center setting in with the round accent diamonds on the shank on either side as well. One of a Kind Engagement Rings

Diamond Accents and Band Design

Princess cut diamonds are channel set down the shank shoulders, with five on each side of the main setting. These extend nearly the width of the band, and they echo the straight lines and sharp corners of the center stone nicely. Diamond Engagement Rings

On each ring front, round diamonds are bright cut set, starting at the edge of the main setting and continuing down to about the three-quarter point on each side. These bring a decidedly glamorous flair to the design, and they also balance out the angular stones on the top nicely.

The band features a Euroshank as well, which creates soft corners close to the bottom on either side. This style contributes to the ring’s overall contemporary aesthetic, and it also helps to balance out the large diamond at the top.
