This stunning engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond prong set at the top of a tapered split shank, accented by rows of bright cut set diamonds on the shank shoulders. Center Diamond

In the center of this ring, an emerald cut diamond is prong set in platinum, and it’s oriented so that it crosses the band lengthwise. This positioning helps highlight the stone’s elegant shape, and it also has the effect of elongating the appearance of the finger when worn. The prongs holding the diamond come almost straight up from below, and they’re somewhat squared, echoing the clean lines of the stone. They meet the diamond at its cropped corners, presenting it delicately and with open space all around. One of a Kind Engagement Rings

Diamond Accents and Band Design

The band is solid across the bottom, widening slightly as it moves up the sides to the mid-point. This is where two lines of bright cut set accent diamonds begin, running up parallel to each other before eventually veering off on their respective strands when the band splits about a quarter of the way from the top. The two strands curve out gently, meeting the side of the center setting just inside each of the prongs. Diamond Engagement Rings

For a little bit of added sparkle, two round diamonds are bright cut set on each ring front on a bar that crosses at the base of the center diamond. These help connect the center setting to the rest of the piece, and they balance out the depth of the prong base nicely as well.
