Diamond Center and Halo

The centerpiece of this ring is a large cushion shaped diamond in a platinum bezel setting that helps to highlight its elegant shape. Surrounding this lovely stone is a contoured halo of bright cut set diamonds, and these help make for an even more dramatic center presentation by enlarging the center setting and adding their own sparkle as well. The halo style is a popular one for engagement rings and has been for some time. Despite its classical origins, however, this halo has some contemporary flair thanks to the use of the bezel setting and the softly-squared shape of the cushion cut center. Diamond Engagement Rings

Band Design and Diamond Accents

The band is flat and straight, with two rows of bright cut set diamonds running from the edge of the center setting down to the mid-point on each side. These diamonds add some dramatic sparkle of their own, and they also tie in with the diamonds in the halo to help unite the two sections of the piece.

Customization Options

One way to put your personal mark on this design might be to use a different type or color of gemstone for the bezel set accents on the ring fronts. This is the perfect place to tuck in some color without having it overpower other elements of the design.
