Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round Forever One moissanite in a six prong setting, surrounded by a swirling halo of round bright cut set diamonds, and accented with additional diamonds, milgrain, filigree and custom hand engraving. It was created for a couple from Wenatchee, WA, and we made the matching wedding band for them at the same time.

The clients visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process. It was during this consultation that they selected the two inspiration pieces they wanted to draw from to create their unique design. We continued to collaborate with them through the online workroom we set up to manage their project, and we mailed them wax models to inspect as well before they gave their final approval for us to move their pieces into production. Center Setting

A 7.5mm Forever One moissanite sits in a six prong white gold setting at the top of this ring. The arrangement of the prongs helps to highlight the stone’s perfectly round shape, and the palladium white gold the setting is made from only enhances the moissanite’s brilliance.

Surrounding this gorgeous gem is a swirling halo of round bright cut set diamonds that creates almost a floral appearance for the center setting as a whole. It’s made up of six sections of diamonds that wrap over and around each other in a wave pattern, and it makes for a truly stunning look at the top of this ring. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle

Band Design and Diamond Accents

The bottom portion of the band is flat and relatively narrow, although it widens slightly moving up the side. This lower area is covered with custom hand engraving in a swirling scroll pattern, as are the fronts of the band all the way up to the top. The band splits at the mid-point, however, and this is where the round bright cut set diamonds start, running up along the shank shoulders on both strands and helping to tie in with the halo at the top.

Milgrain beading lines all of the accent diamonds in this piece, including those in the halo. It also frames the hand-engraved sections, and it’s included in the same ways in the companion wedding band we made to complete the set. The shared features of both rings contribute to the wonderful display they create when worn together, and because we made them at the same time, we were able to ensure perfect alignment and matching of details.
