Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong yellow gold setting, with bright cut set diamond accents on the wrapped split shank. It was created for a client from Phoenix, AZ, who initially reached out to us online to request a quote and learn more about our custom design process.

After learning about our process and clarifying details about this piece, we moved into the CAD portion of the project. At this point, we shared models of this engagement ring, as well as a wedding band we designed to match, with the client through the online workroom we created for the project. She loved what she saw, and we sent her a wax model to inspect before giving her final approval to move into production.

Center Diamond

The diamond at the center of this ring is 0.70 carats and round brilliant cut. It sits in the middle of a wrapped halo of round bright cut set diamonds that is formed by the intertwining of several strands of the split shank. This halo gives the ring a slightly floral feel, and it also helps intensify the sparkle of the larger diamond at the center. Diamond Engagement Rings

Wrapped Shank and Diamond Accents

The split in the shank begins below the mid-point, and this is also where the row of accent diamonds begins on each side. These run up one of the strands of the split shank, which helps clarify their movement as they cross over each other before transitioning into the center setting. Custom Engagement Rings

Each of the diamond-lined strands continues up to wrap completely around the center diamond one time, while also intertwining with the strand from the other side as it completes its own loop. The unlined strands enter into the center setting as well, but lower down, providing structural support and a satisfying balance to the design.
