This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong setting at the top, accented by pave set diamonds and milgrain beading on the tapered white gold shank. The fact that the accent diamonds continue all the way around the band of this ring make it an eternity design as well, and that only adds more meaning to an already significant piece. Center Setting

The diamond at the top of this ring is one carat, round brilliant cut, and it’s displayed in a four prong setting made of 18k white gold. The prongs meet the diamond at the compass positions, and this arrangement gives the center a vaguely star-like quality while also complementing the flow of the band nicely. Diamond Engagement Rings

The prongs also reflect an inverse relationship with the shape of the center diamond, as they’re widest at the bottom, narrowing to a point at the top where they meet the stone. A bezel set diamond sits directly below the center on each ring front as well, adding a bit of surprise sparkle and a satisfying balance to the design.

Diamond and Milgrain Accents

The band is covered with pave set diamonds on both the top and fronts. These run all the way around the ring, creating an eternity band design and adding a dazzling sparkle along the way. On the top surface, this means the accents get smaller as the band narrows almost to a point before reaching the center. On the fronts, however, the band widens slightly as it gets close to the top, and so the diamonds there are modestly larger in order to fill the space appropriately.
