Earrings Description

These stunning drop earrings feature cushion-shaped amethyst centers surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The design originated as a custom order for our client from Bellevue WA.

Amethyst Centers

The centerpieces of these earrings are a beautiful pair of cushion cut amethysts. Their lovely color really stands out in contrast to the surrounding diamonds and the polished white gold that holds them in place.

The use of amethyst here also adds an extra layer of meaning to the piece, as they signify passion, creativity, and faithful love. These are wonderful sentiments to incorporate into a gift for the special person in your life, or you can choose to substitute another type of gemstone that holds particular meaning for you.

Diamond Accents

Small split prong set diamonds create a halo around the center amethysts in these earrings, and they also run up the stem for added sparkle. The diamonds in the halo help reflect extra light back onto the amethyst, and their brilliant white color is a wonderful complement to the rich purple of the center stones.

An additional, slightly larger diamond anchors the stem of each earring, and its bezel setting is lined with a delicate milgrain. This adds a bit of a vintage flair to the piece.
