Earrings Description

These stunning stud earrings feature square emerald cut emeralds in the center, surrounded by halos of channel set round diamonds, with additional channel set diamond accents on the sides. They were created for a client from San Diego, CA, who came to us with a clear idea of what she wanted. We created CAD proofs of the pieces as we proposed to make them, and she quickly gave her approval for us to move them into production. Design Your Own Earrings

Center Emeralds

Each earring centers on a square emerald cut emerald, and the two stones combined total 2.93 carats. They’re both prong set in 18k white gold, and their elegant green color is only enhanced by the contrast with the silvery sheen of the metal. The prong setting holds the stones up slightly above the body of the earrings, and this both solidifies their central position and allows for their depth without making the base too thick. Earrings

Diamond Accents

Surrounding the emeralds are halos of channel set round white diamonds. There are 128 diamonds in all across both earrings, and this amounts to 0.58 carats total. The halos bring a wonderful sparkle and contrast to the piece, and they also send more light back up onto the emeralds, thereby increasing their brilliance.

All of the accent diamonds are not in the halos, however. There is also a line of channel set round diamonds running around the side of each earring, bringing added glamour and sparkle to the design.
