Three-stone Setting

The three-stone setting is a classic choice for an engagement ring, although it can take many forms. In this particular ring, it centers on a one carat round brilliant cut diamond in an open prong setting, with a pear shaped diamond on either side to complete the look. Diamond Engagement Rings

The side diamonds are also prong set, and they each share two of the prongs holding the center diamond in place. This helps keep all three stones in the main setting clustered close together, making for a more seamless appearance and a truly dazzling sparkle. Matching Wedding Sets

Band Design

The band maintains the same width all the way around, and it features what’s known as a knife edge. This is a ridge that runs down the center of the band all the way around, and the sides of the shank slope away from that highest point down towards the edges.
